| Anyone going to burning man? |

Hey, im trying to find camp mates and a ride to and from burning man this year. If anyone in the SF bay area or someone driving thru SF on the way to BM have room for a good teddybear who's clean and actually helps out at camp, please let me know! |

So just as last night I was complaining about not earning enough.. I get some mail today notifying me they will be garnishing my wages for a clerical error I never was able to get resolved
It all started almost 4ish years ago, I was out of a job on unemployment, and due to a clerical error, EDD decided I wasn't eligible for benefits, and wanted to bill me for the money they'd paid out. I was never able to contact the right people in time to keep my benefits going, and there was no avenue given to me to fight it. So, instead of making about 300 a week, im down to 200 a week.. Thank you Arnold, thank you Bush, you've really started stickin it to the little guys.
So now, I can pay rent and bart.. hmm.. guess its time to get creative with top ramen again :( |

| I hate looking for a new place |

So the great apartment search goes on. and on and on...
I've got pretty much 30 days to find a place Mark and I can be happy with, and move... oh ya.. and a place that will take us. It seems to be almost impossible to find a place that doesnt say *will not accept bad credit* even if they don't directly say it.. ironicly those places are listed EVERY day and no one claims them...
I thought I found a place today, but sure nuff they were "out of the country" and were the only ones with keys.. ya right im not gonna fall for that one...

Monday night was more than amazing! The bar was packed, people were singing along with the music, and it was fun all the way till closing!
I'm so happy I got to DJ New Years, everyone seemed to enjoy the music a lot, there were even people singing along.
If only Monday nights could be that busy all the time! |

| Burning man around the corner OMG |

Well, in about 3 weeks I will be heading to the Nevada desert for a week. I'm still trying to get a 100% for sure ride to and from the event, as I can no longer drive. Some of you may ask "well why cant you drive yourself?" Well, because of issues lately with night vision and depth perception, I really shouldn't be driving anymore :)
This has not been a problem since I can walk to and from work, and am within walking/bus/cab distance of everything I really need most of the year, but proving to be a big challenge this year for Burning Man. So, I've already got 1 possible trip up and back, but it was more of a "well if you haven't found anything else" so I'm still looking just in case. I will have a pass to arrive early to help set up the camp I will be with, so If anyone else is going up Saturday or Sunday the 25th or 26th, let me know. Also, I'll be planning on staying the whole week and plan on leaving Monday in the afternoon on the 3rd. If anyone else who might be reading this knows anyone or themselves are going up and have a open seat, please let me know right away! :) |

Everyone at work took pause today. Outside our windows was a sight you dont normally see.. well anywhere. Some dude was teachin this woman how to crack a whip.. literaly. In the middle of the street is this person waving a 20ft whip around. Everyone stared and stared until the woman's wig fell off and they realized it was a guy.... then the cameras came out, it may be on youtube soon :P |

As a lot of you know, for many reasons I really dont talk with my family much anymore. I love them very much, I just can not be around them... Well, I got a note from my Aunt today letting me know that my Grandfather has 4-6 weeks left, the found cancer last week and it had already gone to the liver...
I guess I'm just more mixed up right now because while I was angry at my grandfather for leaving the family.. I would never wish ill on anyone, especially cancer.. I find myself unable to call him to say goodbye, because I dont want him to go.. and I really wouldnt have much to say to him...
*sigh* so, I would like to say I'm sorry ahead of time to anyone im around if i'm down or just kinda crabby, you all know I love every one of you. |

I really need some time off soon... This weekend I'll have 2 days off only cuz Thursday we're closed... I was the one that said I'd work the overtime, but there really wasnt much choice given we're really short staffed at work... So on going 6 day weeks until our other co-worker gets the OK from his dr to return to work.
On an up side, I am now 3 weeks free from tobacco cold turkey! |
